Early next month, look for live conference reports from SIGGRAPH 2004. We'll be out there for the full program and will send daily updates to our blog. Why is this one of our favorite shows? Well, here's how the Emerging Technologies area is described:
Interactive displays of assumption-shattering concepts that will enhance human life in the near and distant future.
Installations of both technology and art created by scientists, engineers, and fine artists. What's next in augmented and virtual reality, ubiquitous computing, displays, hand-held devices, real-time graphics, mobile technologies, robotics, imaging technology, haptics, sensors, gaming, the web, wearable systems, visualization, collaborative environments, entertainment, and art.
It's one of the freshest and most innovative playgrounds for us and we'll be there to give you the scoop!
On September 14, join the PMA for their Integrated Marketing Summit in NYC. Power has shifted from marketing organizations to the customers and retailers. With a wide variety of choices, that is, multiple stores, multiple products and multiple choices, consumers have become the marketplace decision makers. The old traditional marketing methods to reach them, for instance, the single focused media approach that worked so well in the '50's-'60's and '70's just isn't working anymore. As a result, companies are looking more to where their brand comes into contact with the customer in order to impact their purchase decisions, rather than simply increasing media weight.
