In French we call there's a word for this concept : "incarner".

Company stores are prevalent in much of Asia -- Samsung, Sony and others -- where they often play the role of "image stores". Here in the US, we all know the success of the Apple stores, see the emergence of Palm stores, Sony showrooms, and a select few others.

Owning your own image -- when Best Buy thinks people are coming to see 'them' -- may be how high involvement retail evolves.
