People like to critique you and today have no problem sharing their critiques with the whole world.
Sure we talk about how every consumer wants to co-create, but many times they really just want to critique. Expect to see lots more blog posts from people who want to tell you what you're doing wrong. And a small percentage will actually be willing to step up and tell you how to improve on what you're doing.
But most people don't have the time to be your co-creator. And there's probably even going to be some crafty legeal issue down the road where people who have helped you co-create, now want a piece of the pie!
So we'll see people doing blog posts like this and calling you to task on your experience. And those critiques will start getting passed around the blogosphere, where they take on a life of their own. You used to have to worry about the occassional secret shopper from corporate. Now
everyone is a secret shopper, except that they won't be too secret about telling everyone what they think!
I love that idea of everyone as a secret shopper. Hopefully, more and more citizen journalists will equal more responsible companies. It's too easy to get caught these days, whether it's something small like a messy store, or something big like insider trading.
