On my way to LA to meet our team doing the installation for the in-cinema experience we've developed for MSNBC.com. I flew from Newark and direct flights were obscenely expensive, so I'm taking the somewhat scenic route! Flying US Airways, which actually has been quite nice. I didn't even mind springing for the food, which wasn't expensive and was tasty to boot! But, they've been hawking this credit card and it seems annoying to make the flight attendents do a five minute commercial each flight. I would guess they're not crazy about it either! Especially when they have to walk though the plane with the applications.
Got word during my layover that one system up & running and that the initial feedback was great! Well be doing a press event later this week and get the official press release out, but I think the audience is really going to enjoy the experience! If you're in LA and want to see what I'm talking about, just give me a holler. I'm here through Monday the 7th!
Oh, and today's my 13th wedding anniversary! Given that I left the day after our wedding and was on the road for three weeks, I've actually been pretty good at making sure that I'm not traveling on my anniversary. But I guess this one just didn't work out. But maybe if lots of you wish my wife a happy anniversary, she won't be so disappointed! Thanks!
