Reading through the logs of referring web pages and came across this listing on Larry Chase's Web Digest for Marketers. This particular issue was about customer experience and here's his lead in:
Meaningless, empty-calorie marketing is a thing of the past. Today's sophisticated audiences expect better from marketers. If they don't get a meaningful message or experience from you, you've lost them.Below you will find the best tools and resources for Customer Experience Marketing.
So I started reading through his list of the 10 top resources and was totally surprised to come across this description of us! It sure is nice to get this kind of feedback for what we do. Especially from a respected source! I have to admit that I haven't read the Web Digest for Marketers for quite some time, but I use to read it all the time back in my dot-com days. I guess I’m going to have to add it back to my regular reading list once again. After all, Larry’s clearly an excellent judge of character! Thanks for the very kind words Larry!
Brand Experience Lab http://blog.brandexperiencelab.org
Brand Experience Lab is one of those cool companies that's all about reenvisioning the world with pie-in-the-sky ideas of what "experience" is... and then translating those ideas into both traditional and cutting-edge tactics. Their blog is excellent for three reasons: 1) It has endless, thought-provoking posts drawing from every walk of life to illustrate both good and bad customer experiences; and 2) It has hundreds of references for you to follow up on, from related blogs to their own "lab" work whitepapers and case studies on behalf of clients like Nokia, Chase, Pepsi, Yahoo! and more; and 3) It's one of the first places you will read about new experiential, already in practice ideas like MSNBC.com's NewsBreaker Live CrowdControl concept.
