UPDATE: It's been just over about a week since I sent my note to FX Network, but I haven't heard anything back yet. As I've watched TV this weekend, it's apparent that FX Networks is far from the only network that has decided this constant interruption is a good thing. Maybe I'll send my note again and see if that helps.
So, I sent this over to FX Network thought their "Contact Us" link and I'm waiting to see what happens next! Am I the only one really bugged by this???
I can’t take it any more! It was bad enough when we had to endure the silent cross-promotions that would cover 25% of the screen, but the sound is just too much. Every show I watch on FX is ruined by having a sudden bust of flames sound for Rescue Me or that damned sound you play every time Damages takes over the TV screen. Does anyone but your sales team like this constant interruption? I’m watching your network already, how about letting me just enjoy watching your shows. I’m looking forward to hearing your response.
