We bank at Commerce Bank, which is quickly becoming Americas Bank most like every other bank, and while sometimes they can be quite helpful, they also seem to have many of the same, archaic procedures that all of the other banks have. Take, for example, the concept of "business days." Made sense back in a time when really everyone shut down on Saturday and Sunday, but does it really make sense today? And more importantly, does it make sense for a bank that's open on Saturday & Sunday to talk about business days? If I deposit a check on Friday night (as I have to do today), why wouldn't be available Saturday? Why do I need to wait until Tuesday to have it clear? Especially when it's a check from the same damned bank! Come on Commerce, where's your balls? If you're going to do things in a really new way, do it. Don't just put window dressing on it.
