I just have one observation to make here. It just strikes me as so strange that in 2007, type fonts still can cost so much money.I mean some of them only cost about $24, but if you want to buy a whole family, that could cost almost $600. I don't know whay is strikes me as strange, but it just does.

I would imagine that the reasoning behind this is the work that goes into some fonts by founderies. C'mon now with open type faces you get an upwords of 65.000 glyphys accompanying the actual face in addition to all of the variations on the type.
