Doing a day trip for meetings in Denver and noticed a cool thing here at Denver airport. When the shuttle train arrives in the station, they play a little bit of music to let you know. It's a very little thing but many people noticed it.
And while waiting here for the flight to leave (12:55 AM), there was a group of people here from a cancelled United flight. The moved to the JetBlue flight I'm on and I've been listening to various members of the group call United to find out how they'll get their luggage. United seems to be saying You'll have to figure out how to get your bags yourself and variations on that theme. I've only flown United once in about the past 6 years because of how badly they treated me when they lost my luggage going from LA to San Fransisco.
Brands spend all of this money on advertising to tell us how great they are and then they do stuff like this. Apparently they're with a group of like 200 people and many of them have had this problem. So far, from the parts of the conversationsI'm hearing, United is basically saying we can't help you.
For shame United, for shame!
